Sr. Payroll Administrator

Description A company in Santa Clarita is looking for a Sr. Payroll administrator. You must be able to commute ONSITE IN SANTA CLARITA, Mon-Friday. Job Description:Oversee and manage daily payroll processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy, operating across multiple states.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.Work closely with HR and other teams to enable smooth workflow and coordination.Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries.Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.Determine payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state taxes, including unemployment and worker’s compensation.Stay updated with the latest trends in payroll processing and changes in tax rates.Enhance and develop payroll policies, guidelines, and procedures.Requirements Requirements:4+ years of experiencePrior experience as a Sr. Payroll Administrator or in a similar role, specifically multi-state payroll experience.Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.Familiarity with payroll systems (ADP WORKFORCE NOW) , software and high levels of numerical and analytical proficiency.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Confidentiality and integrity are crucial in this role.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
