Lead outreach efforts to students, families, and counselors to promote successful applications, yield, and smooth transitions to Iowa State

Develop, implement, and evaluate daily recruitment operations

Represent Iowa State at high schools, college fairs, and career events across California

Deliver impactful presentations—both in-person and virtually

Foster connections through innovative recruitment approaches

Play a pivotal role in guiding students on their journey to Iowa State

T ravel throughout California is required

We anticipate the hiring range to be between $75,000-85,000, depending on qualifications.Example of Duties Recruits prospective students from high schools and community colleges. Plans events, including student open houses, visits, tours, and off-site receptions. Travels and gives presentations about the university to student groups. Participates in the selection process, including review and evaluation of candidates. Counsels students and parents regarding the admissions process. Serves as school ambassador to outside groups.Level Guidelines Senior-level position possessing high-level professional and/or technical skills working independently under minimal supervision to support ISU’s mission and department or work unit goals Applies senior-level professional knowledge and expertise to work requiring greater latitude Solves moderately complex problems and regularly exercises judgment to determine appropriate action Regularly exercises judgment to resolve problems and determine appropriate action on a broad set of issue and problems.
