As a machinist, you will be accountable for assembling and inspecting products to ensure the highest quality is delivered to our customers. You will also be accountable for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, setting up and monitoring production, and actively participating in continuous improvement processes.Key Responsibilities:
Receive little to no instruction on routine tasks and general instructions on new assignments.
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of machining, specifically aligning to Mills/Lathes/Grinders, with the ability to train others.
Demonstrate an expert insight of the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) concepts and the ability to teach others, specifically in areas such as 5S Facilitation.
Observe all safety policies and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Follow NUCAP and NADCAP requirements.
Communicate effectively with colleagues within and outside of your work area.
Expertly read, interpret, and train others on how to read blueprints and machining programs.
Train others on geometric tolerance and measuring tools/equipment.
Regularly interface with engineers to troubleshoot issues.
Demonstrate the ability to learn multiple disciplines.

High School Diploma
Minimum of 5 years of machining experience, including working with Mills/Lathes/Grinders, reading, and interpreting blueprints, and using measuring tools/equipment
Minimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Technology
