Material Handler I - FTP2 (Swing Shift)

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.Fill storage requisitions as requested by Plants 1 & 2 and deliver same materials to plantsPerform daily, inventories and prepare reports as required on all packaging materials, spices and operational suppliesMaintain warehouse and warehouse equipment in a clean and orderly manner according to USDA standardsCommunicate and problem solve with and through production supervisors, forepersons, Central Supply, Purchasing and SchedulingMaintain records (Daily Issue Log) of materials received and issuedReceive proper documents from outside vendors and submit through proper channelsCommunicate any shortages of materials to immediate superiorMaintain Control of material wasteStage issue point with materials for all production shiftsAssists in the unloading and loading of equipmentHelp maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
