Description We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance sector located in Torrance, California. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be tasked with an array of responsibilities ranging from maintaining project control, ensuring customer satisfaction, to leading business excellence initiatives. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:
Ability to perform responsibilities/Duties/Functions/tasks of a Project Manager.
Demonstrate a high caliber of project control over multiple years.
Always monitor and maintain AX / CRM schedule accuracy for the entire year.
Promptly alert to the Head of PM and site management for scope change and risks.
Set up escalation form promptly for project delays and revenue impact for >$100K.
Set up internal meeting with the necessary project team to resolve issues promptly, make note of action items, set up timeline and timely follow-up.
Follow closely to the Global and Local PM systems and maintain data accuracy.
Weekly update to the top management when requested (high revenue projects).
Ensure project execution and follow-up accordingly to defined scope, deliverables, budget, and estimated resources.
Feedback to Planner when TACTIC schedule is not aligned.
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clear understanding of the scope of work – option set up addition calls with the client PM representative to align on understanding and communicate clearly with the project team.
Discussion with Sales to align on scope and scope creeps and enable commercial discussion between Sales / clients if required.
Ensure project deliverables according to customer expectations.
Align with Sales and client for invoicing (incl. Bill and hold), batch allocation, excess quantities, etc.
Demonstrate additional capacity to successfully manage complex projects such as internal or external tech transfer, PPQs, etc.
Show respect to the Project Management organization and participate in teamwork.
In addition to the improvement projects within the PM organization (Local and / or Global).
Lead cross functional local and / or Global business excellence initiatives and projects related to Project Management.
Be part of Global initiatives within, but not limited to, Project Management
Support onboarding and training of new Project Management team members.
Be a positive influential leader.
When applicable be the deputy local Head of Project Management.
Requirements
Candidate must possess a strong background in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries. Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager is essential. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies is necessary for managing and implementing digital solutions. Familiarity with CRM systems is mandatory for managing customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial for coordinating business processes and resources. Expertise in IBM software and systems is necessary to integrate and manage technology solutions. Proficiency in About Time software is required for effective time and project management. Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies is essential for efficient project execution. Understanding of budget processes is crucial for financial planning and control. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
