The General carpentry/hardscape team member will assist, and be responsible for projects on Property, masonry, concrete work, irrigation, planting, pruning, shaping, fertilizing, pest management, and overall health and wellbeing of the landscape and hardscape and buildings on the Property. Property/estate maintenance experience is a plus

Private family estate looking for a creative, energetic person with skills. ready to be hands-on. multi-tasking on several projects, water features, decks, docks, paths, trails, etc.

Willing to do just about any task on the property as part of a small team

Job Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate hand and power tools, and heavy equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Operate company trucks and trailers for transportation purposes.

Semi-skilled tasks including but not limited to mowing, trimming, and planting.

Qualifications

General construction knowledge skills and experience:

General knowledge of landscape installation & maintenance.

knowledge and skill with hand and power equipment.

Assist in maintaining the irrigation system to operational standards and report any problems immediately

Assist with the implementation of a fertilization program for all areas of the grounds by measuring and applying the appropriate amounts, types, and applications for lawns, ground covers, shrubs, and trees

Maintain and implement a plan for pest management for all types of pests that may be found on the estate grounds

Assist in maintaining and implementing clean and tidy property grounds free from leaves, debris, and soils by executing a daily site cleanliness program

Monitor and communicate soil conditions, both wet and dry

Provide support by assisting with landscape record keeping, updating maintenance documents, and documenting work progress

Maintain all equipment, storage and service areas, and landscape products in a highly clean, organized, and consolidated manner and report any problems immediately

Installing valves and controllers

Working with a maintenance supervisor to ensure maintenance property irrigation systems are working efficiently

Programming controllers and training others on how to program

Masonry and concrete experience a plus

Electrical experience a plus

Plumbing experience a plus
