Only W-2 candidates will be consideredOur Client, a Fortune-50 telecom, tv and internet provider, has an opening for a Solutions Architect/Engineer. This is a long-term contract position that would either continue to extend or could be converted to FTE. This ongoing project involves a platform to facilitate partner application integration, receive charges triggered by end user and put it on the respective payment for operators. Looking for someone local to the bay area as this position requires some onsite collaboration but wouldn't need to work onsite 5 days/wk. Pay range varies widely, ($70-100/hr) depending upon experience. This role would be 70% split across streamlining processes, automation when needed, facilitating in Linux, and incident management. Technologies this group is looking for experience with include: html5, javascript, any scripting language, rest api’s, how http works, networking principles, navigating through AWS. The other 30% of this position is customer interaction with the developers who are working to onboard their application and features onto the platform. This interaction isn't passing messages along but answering their questions directly and working on a solution with them. Experience that would be desired in this role include: understanding of OTT apps and how they work in html5, general networking principles, devops experience while working with customers. Prior domain experience in OTT apps, monetization, and this type of product is desired.
