Tablet Product QA is responsible for the E2E software qualification of the new device and software updates for Fire Tablet devices.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with consumer application testing expertise. You will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned SQA professionals. In this role, you will:
Create test plans and test cases
Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
Isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture
Triage issues, react well to changes, and work with teams
Maintain Devices Automation lab by setting up lab infrastructure.
Automate the test cases and build tools/scripts necessary to make the testing easier.
A day in the lifeAs a QA Engineer on the team, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, technical program manager to identify unambiguous software requirements, understand all features and their implementation details, understand customer usage models and then develop and execute plans to get that software into our customers' hands in an efficient fashion with a high degree of confidence in its quality.Basic Qualifications
4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in manual testing
Experience in automation testing
Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

The base pay for this position ranges from $102,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
