Job Title: Stone Cutter – Full-Time
Hourly Wage: $20–$25/hr based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stone Cutter to join our team in Tracy, CA. This role focuses exclusively on cutting and shaping stone materials to precise specifications for residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with our fabrication team to ensure high-quality output that meets design and structural requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Operate bridge saws and hand tools to cut granite, marble, quartz, and other stone materials
- Read and interpret cutting diagrams, templates, and technical drawings
- Measure and mark stone surfaces for cutting
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in cuts to minimize waste and meet project specs
- Maintain a clean and organized cutting area
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and precision
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a stone cutter or in a fabrication shop
- Familiarity with stone cutting equipment and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to Tracy, CA
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
