MPU Electrician
MBF Electric is seeking talented and motivated MPU Electricians to join our team. If you are passionate about the electrical industry and have experience in residential main panel upgrades, this position offers excellent opportunities for growth in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute residential main panel upgrades of various types and complexities.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV report.
- Reliable transportation and availability for unscheduled overtime.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Dressed professionally and maintaining proper hygiene standards.
Preferred: Certified Electrical / Journeyman Card (or equivalent certification).
Supervisory Controls: MPU Electricians will report directly to the project manager and residential client.
Evaluation Factors: MPU Electricians will be primarily evaluated based on their ability to successfully complete electrical work on time and to the standards expected in the relevant electrical code.
Pay Scale: MPU Electrician compensation will be based on qualifications, currently estimated between $35-$45/hour.

Schedule
- Approximately 8-hour shifts with flexibility based on project requirements.
