Job Title: Journeyman Carpenter/Framer
Location: Manteca, CA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: Depends on experience (DOE) – $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
3-day weekends every week!
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Carpenter/Framer for a reputable construction company specializing in mobile building projects in the Manteca, CA area. This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent hours and the chance to work with a skilled and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of framing, including layout, measuring, cutting, and installation.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical layouts.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a journeyman carpenter or framer.
Strong understanding of carpentry/framing techniques and materials.
Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical plans.
Reliable transportation to and from the Manteca job site.
Must have own hand tools and proper work attire.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
