We are looking for an experienced and skilled Aluminum Fitter/Welder to join our team at Rackley Custom Bilt Trailers. An ideal candidate would be responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling aluminum components to produce trailers according to specified designs and quality standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding and fitting techniques. Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG and TIG welders to join aluminum parts with precision and accuracy. Fit and assemble aluminum components using jigs, fixtures and hand tools. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications: Proven experience as an aluminum fitter/welder, proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques for aluminum, Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work, physical stamina and dexterity to handle welding equipment and perform manual tasks, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
