Description:
Lodi Vintners is a family-owned custom crush winery that encompasses all phases of large-scale wine production and storage. We are seeking hard working/motivated individuals for a full-time cellar position. This position will report to both supervisors and the Cellar Master.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitizing
Receiving and processing fruit during harvest
Making additions to juice and wine
Pump-overs, wine transfers, racking, topping, etc.
Other general winery/sanitation tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to work all shifts as needed, as well as overtime if requested
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
Ability to comprehend and carry out oral and written instructions with written detail in English (use of English and Spanish is helpful)
Must be able to frequently stand, crouch, bend, walk up and down stairs, climb ladders, etc. as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Working in both an indoor and outdoor environment (exposure to elements such as wind, sun, and rain may apply)
Ability to work in confined spaces or at varying heights
Ability to perform tasks efficiently and safely
Forklift experience is a plus
Must have reliable transportation
Previous cellar experience is preferred, but not required
Position to start immediately.
This will be a full-time position with medical/dental/vision benefits as well as 401K retirement.
Pay Range: $17-22 an hour depending on experience.
