Description Robert Half's client is a leading biotech company dedicated to curing rare diseases. They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Apply today! Responsibilities:

Maintain General Ledger: Accurately record and post financial transactions to the general ledger, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Reconcile Accounts: Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that all financial information is correct.

Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, including adjustments and corrections, in accordance with accounting policies.

Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and schedules.

Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance: Ensure that all accounting practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Requirements

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.

Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
