We take pride in creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces, and we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team.
Job Description:
As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of irrigation equipment to support the growth and health of landscapes. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating and maintaining vibrant outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install and configure irrigation systems based on landscape designs and client specifications.
-Conduct regular inspections and assessments of irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues.
-Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as valves, pipes, and controllers.
-Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper integration of irrigation systems with overall landscape designs.
-Set and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, plant requirements, and water conservation principles.
-Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues in irrigation systems.
-Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
-Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding irrigation system operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
-Proficient knowledge of irrigation system components, including controllers, valves, pumps, and pipes.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with water conservation practices and regulations.
-Knowledge of basic electrical systems related to irrigation.
-Clean Driving Record
-Valid driver's license
-Ability to speak/write in English and Spanish
-Ability to use cell phone and iPad technology and applications
Education and Certifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications a plus).
