We are looking for someone with practical experience in the daily operations that include general ranch work plus vehicle, water well, and both heavy and light equipment operations and repair/maintenance.
Ability to operate heavy and small equipment safely and respectfully.
Lead a crew
Fence work – both wood and barbed wire
Project oversite
Heavy equipment operation (bulldozers, tractors, etc.)
Always demonstrates safe practices and compliance with property rules.
Qualifications:
Provide documents that prove you are eligible to work in the U.S.
5+ Years prior work-related experience as a grading/excavation foreman. Looking for someone with hands on and practical experience with an ability to work alone and with others.
Exhibits good time management.
Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects and general ranch work.
Must possess basic knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions (OSHA regulations).
Personal skills – ability to communicate well with others, give instruction, take instruction, effectively and rationally deal with conflicts/deadlines. Having good verbal and written communication skills, you must be able to communicate with staff, managers and other contractors. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Works on every project with an eye for detail.
Preplans and schedules for activities daily as required.
Knowledge of inspection requirements and material or equipment requirements.
Be accessible to employees to address questions or concerns.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Overtime may be required during special events or emergencies.
Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions including extreme heat, cold or rain.
Strenuous physical labor and heavy lifting are required, including repetitive movements; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Maintains employer and employee confidence by keeping information confidential.
Plus – the ability to work with older equipment along with familiarity with newer equipment is desired.
Ability to help with general ranch duties as needed. Examples, fence work, handling livestock, etc. We’re looking for a team player willing to jump in and help where necessary.
