Part- time/ full time Groomer 50%+ tips
An upbeat, fun Dog & Cat Retail Boutique and Grooming Salon and Self- Serve Dog Wash on the beachside of Cayucos is looking for a front desk receptionist to work 20 to 30 hours per week, may include weekends.
Receptionist/ Customer Service -
Candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
- able to learn new software, POS systems quickly
- able to answer incoming calls, properly direct customers, check-in/check-out guests, etc.
- able to cross / up-sell goods & services. Retail experience a plus
- possess high customer service standards
- be flexible, (no day is the same) and be on time- A MUST!
- post dog pics to social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook & twitter
- send cute dog pics to owners with messages
- highly dependable, organized and efficient
- hardworking and self-motivated
- willingness to learn everything about dogs - behavior, health, and breeds
- must be friendly and sociable
- assist grooming staff, Cleaning and maintaining Healthy, Happy environment!
- walking dogs to the park - have knowledge and willingness to bathe a dog
- MUST LOVE DOGS AND PEOPLE!
The Grooming assist. position: Experience preferred, WILL TRAIN!

The Dog Groomer & Cat Stylist position must have the following:
At least 3+ years grooming experience: demating, breed cuts, sanitary trim, shave-down, scissoring skills, etc.
Good customer service skills: over the phone and in person
Excellent work ethic, professional and flexible; positive attitude
Love dogs/ people and be able to handle all types of conditions (puppy, senior, misbehaved, medical issues)
