Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Fieldwork & Labor:

Execute high-quality carpentry work including framing, cabinetry, and finishing.

Engage in hands-on tasks such as demo, cleanup, and site preparation with a strong work ethic.

Ensure precision and adherence to project specifications.

Project Management:

Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans with accuracy.

Utilize the Critical Path Method (CPM) to manage timelines and maintain project efficiency.

Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee project progress to ensure smooth execution.

Computer-Based Administrative Tasks:

Use your personal laptop or tablet to manage project data, communications, and documentation.

Master project management software for tracking progress and updating schedules.

Draft and handle client communications, reports, and other documentation efficiently.

Supervision & Leadership:

Supervise and mentor lower skill employees and subcontractors, promoting a positive work environment.

Provide hands-on training and support to achieve high-quality results.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain and organize both digital and physical project files.

Handle scheduling, appointments, and various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience & Skills:

Journeyman level carpentry experience (minimum 4 years).

Proven project management and field supervision skills.

Proficient in reading technical documents and blueprints.

Strong computer skills, including experience with project management software and office applications.

Personal laptop or tablet required for job duties.

Certifications:

Relevant carpentry certifications or licenses.

Physical & Work Requirements:

Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks including demo and cleanup.

Ability to adapt to various on-site conditions and challenges.
