Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems in accordance with local plumbing codes.
Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations and upgrades.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various plumbing tasks.
Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for specific projects.
Conduct construction plumbing activities including new installations and renovations.
Execute pipe threading to ensure proper fit and function of plumbing systems.
Read blueprints accurately to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements.
Provide field service support by responding to service calls and addressing customer needs promptly.
Experience
Proven experience in plumbing with a strong background in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
Familiarity with remodeling projects is a plus.
Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.
Experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and field service is highly desirable.
