Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Pump Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of installing and repairing water pumps with minimal supervision. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to attend to service repair calls independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair various types of water pumps and related equipment.
Perform maintenance on pump systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Respond to service repair calls and complete tasks efficiently and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members and provide support when needed.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Technical training or certifications in pump installation and repair are preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pump installation and repair.
Extensive knowledge of different types of water well systems, pumps and their applications.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
