Bring your heart for serving those in need in our community along with your non-profit experience, people skills, business sense, and a bit of technological skill to Los Osos Cares! This part-time role is perfect for someone who has left their successful full-time career, but still wants to make a difference and strongly believes in our organizational mission of enhancing the incorporated and unincorporated communities of the Estero Bay (Los Osos, Morro Bay and Cayucos) by providing support for those in need. Hours may vary depending on program needs and events - approximately 25 hours per week is expected. Salary to be determined based on formal education and appropriate experience.
In this role you will:
> Be the “face” of the organization – Attend meetings, speak to community groups, lead program and fundraising events
> Oversee Programs – Coordinate and guide each Program; Director to carry out Program goals. See a full description of all programs at www.losososcares.com
> Recruit, train, supervise, and retain excellent volunteers
> Lead fundraising and donor appreciation activities
> Run the office smoothly and efficiently
> In conjunction with the President of the Board of Directors, provide important information to Board members in a timely manner
