United Staffing is partnered with a manufacturer in San Luis Obispo County seeking an experienced Compression Molding Machine Operator. This is a full-time position working days. Come be a part of a company that prides itself on commitment to excellence as they expand their growing team.
Duties:
Installing molds into compression molding machines
Verify existing mold set ups
Start and maintain proven molds
Maintains daily records of molding parameters
Submit and monitor the molding condition table and other reports and checklist
Maintains molding machines, molds and molding area in clean and orderly condition
Performing process troubleshooting, part visual inspections, and various other functions to ensure part conformity and quality
Performs process verifications and evaluations of molds
Review, propose and implement process changes to improved production efficiency
Inspect and monitor process, including temperatures, machine parameters, and material properties
Resolve all molding quality issues
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior compression molding experience from set up to start up
Strong mechanical background and good math skills
Basic computer skills including MS office
Ability to properly use basic compression molding tools
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot machines, molds, and setup problems and issues
