Brough Construction, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Yard Site Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of the yard and storage area, ensuring safe and organized movement of materials, vehicles and personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and experience in small & large equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
Open yard and storage area for daily operations.
Ensure safety protocols are being followed.
Receive incoming loads and deliveries.
Gather and run parts for the mechanic and various jobs.
Ensure tools, yard and storage areas are clean and organized.
Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
Communicate with Supervisor regularly. Report major issues immediately.
Clean, fuel and lubricate all inbound and outbound equipment.
Collaborate with office staff on equipment maintenance and registrations.
Delivers bid packets.
Assists with special projects for field/office staff.
Qualifications
Knowledge of basic construction aspects- tools, equipment, and materials.
Experience/general understanding of working on basic small engines.
Knowledge of various underground and water works parts- a plus!
Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds repeatedly and safely.
Capable of climbing stairs, ladders, mount, and dismount equipment repeatedly and safely.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
