Join our team where each day starts with a quick boat ride to our work barge. While most of our work is on the barge, you'll also spend time in the water wearing wetsuits or waders. We provide all the gear you need, including wetsuits, gloves, boots, and slickers. You'll receive training to handle tasks like caring for and planting new oyster seed, harvesting, packing, shipping, and maintaining mature oysters.
Additionally, you'll learn to repair damaged gear and construct new equipment. Operating various machines to sort, wash, and transport market oysters will also be part of your duties. Our work environment changes daily with the bay's conditions, but we maintain a routine to ensure consistent product quality.
Requirements:
Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, approximately 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility due to tide changes, ± 1-2 hours).
Own reliable transportation.
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
Proficient swimming skills.
