United Staffing is assisting a leading building supply company in their search for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join their warehouse team as a Material Handler in the Customer Service department. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive the best service and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their orders, pulling items from inventory, measuring, cutting materials to specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with their orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Pull items from inventory based on customer requests and specifications.
Measure and cut materials to precise dimensions as per customer requirements.
Assist with loading and unloading materials and inventory.
Maintain a clean and organized shop, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Provide high-quality customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with basic math and ability to accurately take measurements.
Previous experience in customer service, warehousing, or labor position desired.
Ability to measure and cut materials accurately.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, temporary position offered through United Staffing. Scheduled work hours vary and may include shifts Monday – Saturday.
Pay Rate:
Starting at $18/hour DOE.
