New Heritage Properties
Maintenance Technician position available a mid size apartment community in San Luis Obispo California. Education requirements include a high school diploma. A background check will be run. This position does not include an apartment. Training will be given. This is a full-time position with the requirement to be available after hours in the event of a maintenance emergency. The position reports to the Property Manager and Operations Manager of the property management company.

Have apartment maintenance experience
Have the ability to work as a team; multitask, positive attitude
Have proficient plumbing & electrical skills, patching, texturing & painting skills
Experience turning vacant units
Excellent communication skills, professionalism at all times
Are honest and dependable
Professionally and effectively communicate both orally and written
Excellent organization skills
Ability to communicate problems and offer solutions
Daily duties/responsibilities include:
Follow Fair Housing Law, safety procedures
Unit turns to make ready for new move-ins
Offering excellent customer service for resident work orders
Maintaining all areas of the community
Completing Work Orders assigned by Property Manager
Completing Daily Tasks
Appliance, Plumbing, and Electrical repairs
Painting, drywall patching, caulking, and texturing
Turning vacant units
Conducting unit inspections
Other duties as assigned
Compensation:
Schedule is: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per work week)
Hourly rate depends on experience
Personal time off (includes sick) and holiday pay
Healthcare benefits after 90 days of employment
