Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is critical in keeping our homes safe, functional, and comfortable for residents and staff. The ideal candidate is skilled in building systems, a strong problem solver, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, minor repairs).
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Troubleshoot and maintain facility systems, including safety and emergency-alert equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain hazard-free environments.
Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
Maintain maintenance logs and communicate effectively with management.
Assist with upkeep of vehicles, grounds, and common areas.
Qualifications
Prior maintenance or building technician experience required.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and prioritize tasks.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compassionate, respectful attitude when working in a senior care environment.
Valid driver’s license; flexibility for occasional after-hours needs.
