Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Residential Remodeling Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential construction, be familiar with various remodeling tasks, and be able to work effectively with other tradesmen. This position requires daily travel to various locations ranging from Santa Maria to Cayucos to assist with remodeling and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with residential remodeling projects, including kitchen, bathroom, and home interior/exterior renovations.
Perform general labor tasks such as demolition, framing and other construction-related duties.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Assist skilled tradesmen such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
Transport and prepare materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
Follow safety protocols and maintain adherence to local building codes.
Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in residential construction or remodeling.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
Familiarity with residential construction techniques and processes.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
Ability to work well with a team or independently.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
Must be willing to travel daily to various locations from Santa Maria to Cayucos.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with framing, flooring and finish carpentry.
Ability to read blueprints or work with measuring devices.
