Assembly Operator Job Opportunity:
Temporary position- possibly 12 weeks+ maybe permanent
Responsibilities:
Work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on weekdays and/or Saturdays.
Prepare for assembly by reviewing instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies accurately using templates or by measuring.
Assemble components by verifying connections for proper fit and securely fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verify final specifications by measuring completed components.
Cut PVC piping to specified lengths, prepare, and glue them into assemblies.
Maintain a safe, clean workspace by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Operate small hand and power tools, including a miter saw.
Qualifications:
Basic math skills are required.
Ability to communicate in basic English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Able to follow standard work procedures with attention to detail.
Excellent attendance record.
Ability to lift 3-25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally; capable of regular bending and reaching.
Able to stand throughout an eight-hour shift.
Willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for specific work areas, including safety glasses, earplugs, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toe shoes.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
