We are seeking afulltime HospiceFront Office Receptionist to join our team in our San Luis Obispo office.The Receptionist will be ableto answer multiple phone lines for a variety of disciplines with accuracy and efficiency, answering questions and assisting patients as able,taking messages as needed to ensure patient care is planned, coordinated and delivered appropriatelywhile dealing with constant interruptionswith the ability to stay on task and re-prioritize workload as needed.Work Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday through Friday; with a weekend rotationQualifications:Must have previous work experience in a busy office environmentPrevious experience in a healthcare setting preferredExcellent written & verbal communication skillsAble to type at least40 wpmAbility to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalismAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook and Word)Must be able to keep internal business information confidentialHealthcare industry background not required, but helpfulPersonal Attributes:Act calmly and professionally at all timesHave a customer-service based approach with all interactionsStrong organization and communication skillsWork well independently and in a team environmentHigh attention to detail and good follow upAble to take initiative to get things done in a timely mannerTake direction well and willingness to ensure a job well doneWe offer competitive pay, medical, dental, & vision benefits, paid personal and sick time off, 401(k) and discountedgym membership.
