Nate’s on Marsh is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our kitchen team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

Prep/Line Cook positions are available.

Previous experience required; In depth training provided from the outset.

Part-time and full-time positions available.

Weekend availability is required, day and nighttime availability required.

Great opportunity for professional growth and restaurant operations experience.

The ideal candidate will bring strong multitasking abilities, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of food. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a calm demeanor under pressure are essential.

Nate’s on Marsh, a Michelin-mentioned restaurant on the edge of downtown San Luis Obispo, offers an intimate dining experience with a California-focused wine list, classic cocktails, and crave-worthy comfort dishes. Rooted in Central Coast hospitality, we are seeking passionate and customer-focused front-of-house professionals to join our energetic and creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation.

Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment safely.

Maintain clear communication with team members about table status and guest needs.

Preparing dishes efficiently to meet service timelines.

Managing prep work to ensure all ingredients are ready before service.

Work collaboratively to uphold a smooth and successful service flow.

Handle additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.

Ability to stay professional, proactive, and calm under pressure.

A team-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Skilled multitasker with the ability to manage time effectively.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Following recipes and portion sizes accurately.

Keeping the kitchen, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.
