Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in executing the culinary vision of our menu. You will work under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will ensure that our guests receive a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
Work with a variety of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
Ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest quality.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety regulations.
Assist with food prep, inventory, and stocking as needed.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Communicate effectively with fellow team members, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Assist with the development and refinement of new menu items.
Take direction from the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and other senior kitchen staff.
Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a fine dining kitchen or upscale restaurant setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence.
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required.
