Position Overview:

Location Preference:
While we welcome applications from qualified candidates, strong preference will be given to candidates who currently reside in the Central Coast region of California (Or are in the process of relocating). This position requires in-office presence at our headquarters in Arroyo Grande, California.

Responsibilities:
Experienced in managing financial reporting ensuring GAAP compliance.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insightful financial analysis.
Handle month-end and year-end close.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure accurate financial statement preparation and data integrity.
Help oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more.
Avatax monthly sales tax filings and annual business property tax.
Evaluate and authorize customer credit limits.
Payroll experience to support payroll for 45 employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance.
5-7 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Public Accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Shopify, ERP systems, Avalara) is required.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
