Fort Ross Vineyard & Winery is a small premium vineyard, tasting room, and estate property located near Jenner on the West Sonoma Coast.

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced, enthusiastic, pro-active full-time vineyard and estate manager who has practical hands-on farming and vineyard experience. Applicants must be well organized, and ready to assume responsibility for all such operations.

The position involves diverse and varied responsibilities that go with operating and maintaining the estate, vineyard, tasting room facilities, buildings, and equipment.

Vineyard Management Skills. Applicants should have a solid understanding of vineyard operations and associated agricultural practices and equipment including practical vineyard and farming experience, knowledge of vine management, experience with operating and maintaining farm equipment, familiarity with disease and pest control. A PAC or PCA license or ability to obtain one and fulfill various County posting and reporting requirements is desirable. General labor, employee and safety practices management and oversight skills and ability to work alongside and supervise the existing vineyard team is a requirement.

Estate Management Skills. Applicants must have the ability to manage, oversee and maintain ranch, buildings, facilities, and grounds. Applicants will be required to service and/or oversee contractor service of farm, ranch and building machinery and equipment as well the ability to operate, when necessary, tractors, and other heavy equipment. Handyman and general construction experience (including light carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills) and project management experience is desirable. Construction and/or general contractor experience will be a considerable plus for any applicant.

Oral and written fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Computer skills are required including the ability to use Word, Excel, and proprietary software after training.

Applicants must have a CA driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

This is an exempt management position involving the above-described activities and supervision of other employees with a corresponding requirement to work times neccessary to get the job done.

Competitive salary depending on experience. Position available immediately.
