With two prime locations in one in South Beach SF and our main shop in Sausalito, we specialize in delivering top-notch sailboat repair and maintenance solutions to our valued customers. Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced riggers and marine technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of sailboat repair techniques, terminology, and rigging systems. If you're passionate about sailboats and have a knack for meticulous repair work, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough inspections of sailboat rigging systems to assess condition and identify any issues.

Performing repairs, adjustments, and replacements of rigging components as necessary.

Documenting the process of work to maintain a clear and consistent stream of information in our online platform, ensuring job scope clarity and transparency.

Maintaining a positive outlook to represent the company during interactions with customers.

Utilizing specialized tools and equipment to complete rigging projects with precision and efficiency.

Collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of customer projects.

Requirements:

Previous experience in sailboat repair and/or rigging operations.

Proficiency in sailboat terminology and rigging techniques.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Smartphone with unlimited data and the ability to temporarily store photos from the job site .

Being responsible for utilizing our project management app to accurately post updates, including job descriptions, photos, and time worked, ensuring clear communication and documentation while in the field.

Possession of basic hand tools and battery-operated tools, as well as the ability to transport them to job sites.

Some additional skills/knowledge admired but [not required] could include: welding/metal fabrication experience, woodworking/carpentry experience, rope splicing/sewing experience, DC electronics experience, knowledge of advanced next gen sailboat systems, knowledge of traditional sailboat systems, knowledge of sailboat racing regulations, painting experience (get coat matching etc),material science knowledge (aluminum, 316 stainless steel, bronze, synthetic fibers,plastics,dielectric/insulating materials, epoxy/fiberglass)

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
