We are a local family style business, located on Mare Island in Vallejo that is expanding and have a need for 1 immediate openings for a Part-Time Light – Heavy Truck Mechanic who takes pride in their workmanship. (This could turn into full time).
We work on mostly Ford diesel and gas truck, as well as some class 8 trucks and trailers, cars and fork lifts. We are seeking someone that would like to be in a long term position with an established company (25 years in the same location) and low stress atmosphere.
We are an hourly shop and customer service is our main concern.

Experience preferred in:
- Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel Engine
- Welding and fabrication
- Tractor/trailer air brake systems
- Diagnostic Skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Occasional weekend schedule
- Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Compensation: $20 to $35 hourly depending on experience.

- Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30 to 4:15 - work hours are flexible
Candidates must own a general mechanics tool set, capable of supporting a heavy equipment fleet and be willing to expand their own personal tool collection
