General Duties:
Assist with change orders, including soliciting estimates from subcontractors, comparing and assembling bids for review by project manager.
Pre-construction coordination and permit procurement.
Preparation of purchase orders, subcontractor coordination, and subcontractor change order administration.
Coordinate selections, including checking materials budgets, assisting with shopping and pricing selections, preparing and distributing submittals to clients using DocuSign, and creating change orders for client approval.
Create client progress invoices in QuickBooks and update client progress billing spreadsheets in Excel.
Organize and maintain company project files in One Drive and maintain backup physical job files with key accounting and other documentation.
Communicate with engineers and architects, building departments, insurance adjusters, clients and subcontractors.
Assist project managers as directed.
Qualifications:
Residential construction experience in an administrative or project management/coordination role and an understanding of construction fundamentals.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Excel.
Ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
Desirable but not Required:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Experience with construction management or estimating/project management software of some kind, such as Buildertrend, CoConstruct, ProCore, MS Project, Xactimate, etc.
Compensation and Benefits:
$32/hr, negotiable depending on skills and experience
Medical after probationary period
5 paid holidays per year
