We are McCowwan-Berrones & Co. A small high end residential construction company. Our jobs range from kitchens and baths, to whole house renovations. Most of our current work is in the southern Marin area, but also work in the greater Bay Area.
We are seeking to hire a Lead carpenter / Foremanto join our team and grow with us. Our ideal candidate is motivated, thoughtful, and passionate about building. We value quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage carpentry projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction documents
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Manage and supervise a team of carpenters and laborers
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Estimate materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses and budgeting
- Utilize construction management software
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Familiarity with construction management software is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents is a must
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
