Magic Gardens Landscaping (www.magicgardenslandscaping.com) is seeking someone with extensive experience in landscape construction and installation to work with the construction crew in the field, and to manage the construction crew staff. We are looking for a personable, enthusiastic, team-oriented person with strong organizational skills who can work in the field/on job sites and interact well with clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing/managing jobs, construction crew staff, and job sites and working with crews in the field on job sites
- Provide input for construction estimates, details, and specs
- Prioritizing tasks on job sites
- Preparing detailed daily job reports that document labor and materials
- Working closely and communicating clearly with designers, supervisors, and clients
- Ensuring all work is performed safely
- Ensuring maintenance and inventory of all tools
- Ensuring that all field vehicles are in safe, working order
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of landscape or general construction (5 years minimum), including experience with hardscape, carpentry, grading, drainage, masonry, dry stacked stone walls, concrete, and garden structures
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Professional work habits
- Excellent organizational skills
- Efficient deadline management
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks
- Good communication; strong verbal and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, ability to drive company vehicles
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus
An interest in the business and a strong motivation to learn is essential.
Benefits:
Hourly range: $33-38/hour depending on experience. Potential to advance quickly in responsibility and compensation. Paid holidays, paid time off, and health coverage after 90 days of full-time employment. This is an immediate full-time position opening.
