Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Horticulturalist to join our Landscape Maintenance team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing gardens, plantings, and outdoor living spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and highly skilled in plant selection, care, diagnostics, and sustainable landscape practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine monitoring and maintenance of plant health across client properties, including pruning, fertilization, soil management, and pest/disease control.

Provide expertise on plant selection, seasonal color rotations, and enhancements to existing landscapes.

Diagnose horticultural issues and implement effective, environmentally responsible solutions.

Work closely with maintenance crews to ensure horticultural best practices are consistently applied.

Communicate directly with clients, providing updates, recommendations, and education when appropriate.

Develop seasonal care plans tailored to site-specific conditions.

Stay current with industry standards, new plant varieties, and sustainable landscaping practices.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of horticultural tools, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Plant Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Minimum 3–5 years of professional horticulture or high-end landscape maintenance experience.

Strong plant identification and diagnostic skills.

Knowledge of soil science, irrigation systems, and integrated pest management (IPM).

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
