We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Garage Door Repair Technician to join our growing team. Training will be provided and you can apply even if you have no garage door repair experience.
Pay is $30-$40 an hour depending on experience. Bonuses for sales are also available.
Job Description:
As a Garage Door Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage door systems for residential clients. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service while ensuring that repairs and installations are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on various types of garage doors and openers.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with garage doors, openers, springs, cables, and other components.
Provide accurate estimates to customers for repairs or installations.
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of necessary repairs and services.
Keep up to date with the latest garage door technology and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in garage door repair or a related mechanical/construction field is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
