We are currently hiring a Journeyman Carpenter/Laborer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently without constant supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carpentry & Construction:
-Perform framing, structural work, and finishing tasks.
-Read blueprints and follow project specifications.
Installation & Repair:
-Install doors, windows, cabinetry, and other wood structures.
-Repair and maintain existing structures.
Material Handling:
-Select, cut, and prepare materials using hand and power tools.
Team Supervision:
-Guide apprentices and junior carpenters on tasks.
Safety & Compliance:
-Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to building codes.
Precision Work:
-Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fit and alignment.
Communication:
-Coordinate with other trades and report progress to supervisors.
Problem-Solving:
-Address and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
REQUIREMENTS
-Experience in high-end residential construction (1+ years req)
-Residential/Commercial Carpentry experience (5+ years req)
-Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently (req)
-Clean DMV record, professional references, and own tools (req)
-Proficiency with hand and power tools (req)
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (req)
-Good communication and supervisory skills (req)
-Experience with weatherproofing techniques and materials for various structures (req)
Compensation and Benefits
$38-$50/hour DOE
