Repairing cars has been slow since the election for our small business. Our community has been deeply affected by recent events, especially following the inauguration. To keep our team together, we've poured money into the business to stay fully staffed.
We just lost a senior technician to greener pastures, as we expect things to pick back up. As a result, we’re hiring.
Why? Because this slowdown is temporary, and we believe in our business. Every hire we’ve made has taught us something new about the people who consider themselves mechanics.
We Need a Strong, Capable Mechanic
A master, a tech, whatever you want to call yourself—someone who can handle repairs confidently and wants to be part of something bigger. Because we’re not just keeping up with the work in Sebastopol—we have a brand-new shop in Healdsburg standing by, and we want to open it soon.
Your role will be critical in making that happen.
Who We Are
We had a great January, even though things felt slow because the phones turned off at the inauguration. We need to keep the resource level up, as business is expected to return in April.
We operate out of a 5,100 sq ft shop in Sebastopol and a 2,500 sq ft shop with brand-new equipment in Healdsburg. You should be willing to work in both locations.
We work on all makes, ages, and models, and we do things differently. No time clocks, no punching in or tracking labor. The job takes the time it takes, and the team divides labor as needed. We support each other like a pit crew. No mechanic is an island. We work like professionals, sharing knowledge and resources. The shop pays for everything; your tools are your own affair.

The Shop Setup
We have all the right tools to get the job done, including Picoscope carts, Autel scan tools, dedicated diagnostic software, and specialty kits.
We also offer a yerba mate cooler, drinks, snacks, a climate-controlled shop, and room for project cars.
What You Need to Apply
A recent resume with work history and relevant experience
A clean driving record and a current driver's license
Current hands-on experience as a mechanic or automotive technician
Previous SRJC or vocational school training/certifications (preferred)
What We’re Not Looking For
Skilled tradespeople from construction, carpentry, or concrete looking for work during slowdowns
Hobbyist mechanics, mobile mechanics, or helper mechanics
Bad attitudes, toxic behavior, or a history of job instability
Anger management issues, drama, or an unreliable work ethic

Pay is open to negotiation after an interview—we’ll meet or exceed your expectations.
