Sierra Cabinets
We are a commercial cabinet shop located in San Martin, CA. We fabricate and install casework, countertops, and all variations of assorted custom millwork fixtures. Our primary construction materials are laminate, melamine, plywood, solid woods, MDF, particle board, solid surfaces, and a limited amount of steel fabrication.
We are looking for an individual with multiple years of experience in custom millwork fabrication with the following skills:
- Knowledge of power woodworking tools including table saw, panel saws, edge bander, routers, sanders, air assisted tools, woodworking hand tools, etc.
- Ability to manage shop tooling, bits, and blades. Manage resharpening and ordering new bits and blades with vendor.
- Ability to lead a team of fabricators/shop assistants and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Ability to read shop drawings proficiently.
- Knowledge of various wood species and wood composite materials.
- Ability to yield materials efficiently.
