Intentional Contracting Inc. is in search of a qualified estimator to join our team.
Founded in 1999, Intentional Contracting Inc. is a general contracting company,
specializing in winery/tasting rooms and ultra-custom homes throughout Sonoma and
Napa counties and the Bay Area.
Estimators will be expectedto provide thorough and accurate project estimates for both remodel and new construction work.
Estimator will work with the estimating team to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and be accountable for the end product delivered to the Senior Estimator. We work as both General contractors and sub contractors and it is expected that our estimators have the experience level to be able to bid Framing, Concrete and Finish Carpentry scopes of work.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or
related field is preferred, but not required
Prior experience as an estimator or minimum of 10 years field experience managing projects.
Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documentation
including project plans, specifications, addenda, reports, contracts etc.
Proficiency in Cost Estimator and PlanSwift programs
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
Strong team management and leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.
