Small Fine Gardening /Landscape Maintenance business specializing in highly detailed, aesthetic residential gardens seeking part-time assistant for a year-round position (not temporary).
- Minimum 2 years experience required in related work with plants/landscape maintenance/gardening (no lawn care required)
- May be willing to train a suitable candidate with less experience if background and abilities are compatible with position
- Work days are 8 hours, 3 to 4 days per week
Must be:
- Professional with attention to and an eye for detail
- Able to focus on and perform very detailed plant tending and careful hand raking in beds
- Physically strong and flexible:
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and bend, squat and kneel for extended periods of time (essential)
- Able to take direction well and work as a team and independently when needed
- Responsible and reliable with a positive outlook and work ethic
- English speaking and legal to work
Must have:
- A somewhat flexible schedule to accommodate winter weather
(Hours/shifts will be discussed during interview)
- A valid CA Driver's License and a reliable vehicle
