Join our family-owned custom frame shop with over 60 years of experience serving the Bay Area. We're seeking a skilled part-time picture framer to handle custom framing projects and materials management in our established Fairfax location.

About Ringseis Designs

Established in 1961, we're a well-respected custom frame shop that has framed over 750,000 pieces of art. Originally founded as Heritage Picture Framing in San Francisco, we moved to Fairfax in 1977 and have built a strong reputation throughout Marin County and the greater Bay Area for exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all aspects of custom picture framing including measuring, mat board cutting, glass cutting, mounting, and fitting

Operate and maintain framing equipment (miter saws, glass cutters, mat cutters, joiners)

Manage inventory of framing materials and supplies

Place orders with suppliers ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness

Maintain high standards of craftsmanship on every project

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional picture framing experience

Strong understanding of all aspects of custom framing

Strong experience with framing equipment and tools

Excellent attention to detail and precision

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Comfortable with computers

Desirable Qualifications

Front counter and design experience
