We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians who are passionate about their craft and ready to contribute to some of the most prestigious residential projects in the Bay Area.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, permanent position for motivated electricians with a strong background in custom residential work and advanced control systems. You will work alongside a skilled team, installing and servicing a variety of systems including:
Lutron Homeworks Lighting Control
Low and high voltage electrical systems
Complete A/V control systems
Data and network infrastructure
Lutron Shades and Home Automation Integration
If you're a self-starter with a drive for excellence and experience in high-end homes, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret complex electrical plans and schematics
Install and terminate Romex, MC, and low-voltage cabling
Build, set, and splice electrical boxes
Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades
Maintain a clean, professional jobsite presence
Deliver work that meets Dannels Electric’s high standards
Qualifications
California Certified Journeyman Electrician or extensive experience with Lutron Homeworks installations
Minimum 7 years of residential electrical experience—custom home experience required
Familiarity with Lutron Lighting Control Systems is essential
Clean DMV record and ability to pass a background check
Strong communication skills and professional appearance
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Lutron programming experience
Lutron shade installation
Audio/Video (A/V) system integration
College education or technical certifications
Critical Requirement
We are specifically looking for candidates experienced in high-end residential projects and Lutron Homeworks systems. Applicants without this background will not be considered.
Compensation
Apprentice Electricians (2-3 years experience): $25 – $35/hr (DOE)
Journeyman Electricians (High-End Residential + Lutron Experience): $40 – $50+/hr (DOE)
