Soiland Repair is a small, family-owned business that has experienced tremendous growth in recent years. We pride ourselves on our efficient and high-quality service in diesel truck and heavy equipment repair. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a dedicated, skilled mechanic to join our team and help us maintain the level of excellence our customers expect.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanic with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel truck repair. Heavy equipment repair experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to work long hours, and can handle the demands of a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and more.

- Work with a team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.

- Keep work areas clean and organized, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in diesel truck repair; heavy equipment repair experience is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical systems.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work long hours when needed.

- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
