Location: Based in Oakland, CA with extended daily travel throughout the greater Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret user manuals to perform troubleshooting on various vending machines.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machines or machine parts.
- Handle physical tasks such as removing compressors weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Replace motors, control boards, sensors, and other components.
- Identify and source replacement parts for machines.
- Shop for products, stock vending machines, and change locks.
Requirements:
- Must own a car with a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong customer service skills and a knack for problem-solving.
- Must possess basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, tape measure, and socket set.
- Patience and precision for fixing small mechanical parts.
- Ability to provide troubleshooting advice to customers over the phone.
- Professional demeanor and appearance suitable for diverse environments, including corporate offices, schools, warehouses, and various urban areas
Compensation:
$20 per hour to start, plus mileage and bridge tolls reimbursed (drive time unpaid).
After 60-90 days of training, pay increases to $25 per hour plus 15% of net profits.
